Emergency and Crisis Intervention

PLEASE NOTE: Dr. Jablonski offers psychotherapy and consultation by appointment only, and does NOT provide emergency or crisis intervention services.  If you are currently in an emergency or otherwise in need of immediate help that cannot wait for an appointment, this section provides links and phone numbers for emergency and crisis services that are available 24 hours a day/7 days a week.

Emergency: If you or someone you know is in an immediate danger (of doing something to seriously harm themselves, someone else, or have already done so) call 911 immediately or go to the nearest emergency room.

Crisis Intervention: If you or someone you know is struggling with severe emotional distress and/or disturbing thoughts – such as thoughts of suicide – and would like speak to someone right away, crisis intervention hotlines are available any time of day or night.

NYC Well is a crisis intervention service where you can talk, text, or chat with someone for help 24/7 for yourself or someone you know.  Nis a NYC based program that offers mental health and substance abuse resources (crisis services, treatment program and provider directories) for all age groups in several languages.
